Dana Skácelová Presented Research on Plasma Modification of Composites at ECCM22

Dr. Dana Skácelová represented the DPPT and CEPLANT at ECCM22 – the European Conference on Composite Materials in Oslo, Norway. She presented research focused on plasma-enhanced interfacial bonding in fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, investigating the effects of plasma surface modification on fiber–matrix adhesion and mechanical performance. The work highlights the potential of plasma technologies to improve composite materials and facilitate their broader industrial adoption.

Kevin De France Visits DPPT and CEPLANT

Dr. Kevin De France from Queen’s University, Canada, visited DPPT and CEPLANT research infrastructure at the invitation of Dr. Lenka Vítková. During his stay, he learned about ongoing research activities, discussed opportunities for future collaboration, and delivered an INNOLEC lecture on designing sustainable materials based on cellulose and proteins. The visit opened new possibilities for integrating plasma technologies with research on bio-based and sustainable nanomaterials.
