"Adhesion problems?! - Not with us!" that was the name of the workshop organized by ak-adp (Anwenderkreis Atmosphärendruckplasma) in Bamberg on 15. - 16. November 2023. We participated in this event with three lectures focused on the adhesion improvement of polymers (PTFE, Ionoplast), polymer packaging materials for food industry and glass samples before the application of layers. Mgr. Slavomír Sihelník, Dr. Vlasta Štěpánová and Dr. Richard Krumpolec represented our research group and CEPLANT centre at this event. Representatives from universities and research organizations, as well as companies operating in the field of atmospheric pressure plasma systems and industrial technologies, presented the results of their research here. At the beginning of April, the Day with ERC, an event for junior researchers took place. The aim of the discussion meeting for junior scientists is networking. Dr. Jakub Kelar from the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology was nominated as a representative from the Faculty of Science.
Prof. Christoph Gerhard and his colleagues visited their project partners at the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and the CEPLANT Centre in the second week of April 2024. Scientists from the HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/ Holzminden/ Göttingen and our research group are working together on the functionalization of fibers.
