We plan to organize a workshop of our research group and the Ceplant centre in the period of 11st - 14th October 2021. We would like to follow up on the 1st year, which took place two years ago. A wide range of topics from the field of applications of plasma physics and basic research will be presented.
As part of the High School Professional Activity (SOČ) programme, talented high school student Vladimír Hudák from Gymnázium Jozefa Miloslava Hurbana in Čadca is returning to us after a year with a new research topic, again under the supervision of Dr. Richard Krumpolec. This time, his project focuses on the use of advanced filtration materials for biomedical applications.
CEPLANT and the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology at Masaryk University welcomed Iryna Prokipchuk from Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Ukraine, through the EDUC-WIDE initiative, which promotes access to research infrastructures and expertise across partner institutions. During her summer research stay she collaborated with Dr. Zlata Kelar Tučeková and Areej Fatima and used our instrumental capabilites for nanoparticles and sorption materials reaseach aimed for waste water treatment applications.
