At the beginning of October, Dr. Kingsley Iwu from Nanize (Narvik, Norway) visited our laboratory. We have been cooperating with the Nanize company since 2020 within the contract research, which concerns the preparation of durable anti-fouling and anti-soiling surfaces. The aim of this research is to develop layers that can be used, for example, as anti-graffiti coatings.
On the occasion of the Dies academicus, the Rector awarded important personalities, scientists, and successful students in various categories. This year, the Rector's Award in physics for outstanding students of MU doctoral study programs was awarded to Július Vida. Congratulations!
At the beginning of April, the Day with ERC, an event for junior researchers took place. The aim of the discussion meeting for junior scientists is networking. Dr. Jakub Kelar from the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology was nominated as a representative from the Faculty of Science.
