From the beginning of 2026, two new research projects focused on basic plasma research and applied materials technology will be launched in our group.
Our PhD student František Zažímal shared his research at the IWA Water Development Congress 2025 in Bangkok, introducing a novel approach that combines low-temperature plasma and graphitic carbon nitride nanoflakes to improve pharmaceutical removal from wastewater. His work contributes to sustainable water treatment and builds on his achievements as a mentor to award-winning student Anna Podmanická.
