We are saying goodbye to our dear colleague, Dr. Jianyu Feng, who has long been a member of our team, dedicated to the study and research of plasma sources.
We say goodbye to a valued colleague, Dr. Jianyu Feng, as he moves on to new professional challenges.
Dr. Feng completed his PhD within the Plasma Nanotechnologies and Bioapplications research group under the supervision of Dr. Richard Krumpolec. Since 2025, he has continued with us as a researcher, contributing to the development and study of atmospheric pressure plasma sources. His dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit have been an important part of our team.
We are grateful for his contributions and the time we shared working together. Dr. Jianyu Feng will always remain a cherished part of our PNB group, and we will look back fondly on our collaboration.
We were all delighted to accept the invitation to China, and we hope to see you soon, either in a personal or through our professional work.

On May 11, 2026, Dr. Jakub Kelar welcomed Dr. Manon Saget from the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). Dr. Saget specializes in atmospheric pressure plasma deposition. During her visit, she met with our colleagues to explore shared research interests and discuss future collaboration opportunities in plasma science.
The first edition of the Student Scientific Conference at DPPT and CEPLANT, brought together talented students to present their research. All three winners are students from PNB group! The event highlighted a high level of scientific quality and engagement, recognized outstanding achievements with financial awards, and opened the path for the winners to advance to the Czech-Slovak finale.
