Glass Performance Days Finland
Presentation of results obtained during the TAČR TREND project solved in cooperation with the companies OGB s.r.o. and Ikates s.r.o. took charge of doc. Kováčik and Dr. Krumpolec in Nokia Arena in Finland. Their lectures at the Glass Performance Days conference generated significant interest from several glass manufacturers and processors in cooperation in the field of using plasma technologies developed at our workplace. The conference was a combination of a trade fair with expert lectures and workshops.

Anna Podmanická, a gifted student from Gymnázium Jura Hronca, secured 4th place at the prestigious Regeneron ISEF 2025 finals in Ohio, USA. A weeklong testing of plasma treatment in company Nano Medical
Researchers from the Plasma Nanotechnologies and Bioapplicatons research group, Dr. Jakub Kelar and Dr. Oleksandr Galmiz, spent an experimental week at Nano Medical in Liberec. As part of the new OP TAK project, they focused on testing in-line plasma surface modification of substrate materials to enhance the adhesion of nanofibers produced by electrospinning.
