Finalist of TRANSFERA TECHNOLOGY DAY 2021
The team consisting of Dr. Richard Krumpolec and Mgr. František Zelenák was nominated by the Technology Transfer Office of Masaryk University (CTT MU) to participate in the Transfera Technology Day 2021 competition and made it to the finals! Their research is focused on Plasma-reduced graphene oxide materials, which are often referred to as the materials of the future. Congratulations and we wish you much success in further research on graphene.
Participants received feedback on the commercial readiness of projects, and finalists also have the opportunity to participate in the CzechInvest Technological Incubation project. They were the only representatives in the competition from Masaryk University. The event is organized by the national platform Transfera.cz, which connects the world of science and business, and thanks to that helps to spread the results of research and development into practice. Anna Podmanická, a gifted student from Gymnázium Jura Hronca, secured 4th place at the prestigious Regeneron ISEF 2025 finals in Ohio, USA. A weeklong testing of plasma treatment in company Nano Medical
Researchers from the Plasma Nanotechnologies and Bioapplicatons research group, Dr. Jakub Kelar and Dr. Oleksandr Galmiz, spent an experimental week at Nano Medical in Liberec. As part of the new OP TAK project, they focused on testing in-line plasma surface modification of substrate materials to enhance the adhesion of nanofibers produced by electrospinning.
